Holiday Style 2022

December hosts my favorite style session of the year - Holiday inspired looks! (5 Holiday dressing tips below)

This year I opened up my style session to suggestions and requests from all of you which were so fun to include and use as a guide to create these looks! Below are the outfits I rounded up using all of your requests.

Use AimeeReiff20 for 20% off Nisolo boots

Use AImee5 for money off an Evolverie purchase.

Many of these items are Christmas pieces I have collected over the years or bought second hand on Poshmark so I am unable to link them. If there is something specific you would like me to link, you can always leave a comment, email or direct message on Instagram and I’m happy to help you out!

Since I had SO many ideas and not enough time to fit it all into one style session, I rounded up 6 more Christmas inspired outfits I felt inspired by, below.

Holiday dressing tip 1: Never underestimate a monochromatic look round the holidays, especially if you add a red lip! And on that note, a red lip elevates any outfit.

Tip 2: I lean on two concepts that help me make an elegant outfit - movement and accessories. The longer a garment, the more fabric, the more movement and flow which I have found to always feel polished. Jewelry adds more interest, especially with an all black look. I think silver looks especially wintery and festive this time of year.

Tip 3: If black and red feels too extreme to you, try navy and red together or brown and red. I have found that navy and brown are close enough to a neutral that they compliment red but don’t feel as heavy or stark of a contrast as black.

Tip 4: You never need red to feel festive, black watch plaid is a great wintery pattern that isn’t exclusively holiday and feels easier to style if you’re not accustomed to wearing bright colors.

Tip 5: STRIPES. They’re such an unexpected holiday layer but look so happy and festive when paired with red. If you don’t own a traditional red plaid shirt, try stripes, its a fun way to dress up your everyday wardrobe!
