A Year In Trousers

The following pants have been on my hunt list for a while and they were worth the wait! Tan trousers are an incredibly versatile piece in any classic wardrobe. Whether you're aiming for a business professional look or a casual-chic outfit for the every-day, tan trousers can easily adapt to any occasion and bridge the gap between workwear and weekend wear. Their neutral color makes them easy to pair with a wide range of styles, and they always end up feeling effortlessly elegant!

With their ability to seamlessly transition from season to season, tan trousers will undoubtedly become a staple for me and I’m excited to style them all year round. This pair was pricier, (I’ll link them below) but a good pair of trousers will never go out of style and will have you feeling chic year after year!

My trousers - linked here. I found them to fit really well, I got my average size in pants and they have a looser waistband thats comfortable and forgiving even though theres no stretch.

Fall

sweater is a few years old from J.Crew // bag // sneakers (fit true to size)

t-shirt // sweater is very old from H&M // shoes (fit true to size) // sunglasses

Winter

turtleneck (I sized up because its very fitted) // Trench coat (I sized up for extra room) // bag // heels are old but heres a similar pair

sweater was from ABLE but is now unavailable // jacket (I got my larger size for extra room) //coat (I also sized up for extra room) // beanie // sneakers (I have found that a EU 40 = size 9, so I found these shoes to fit true to size!)

Spring

t-shirt, it’s usually not fully stocked so here’s a similar one (size up) // sweater // sandals (run large, I sized down)

Bonus outfit! I love a versatile shirt with lots of ways to wear it.

shirt is old but here is a similar one here and here // hat // sneakers // heels (fit true to size) // clutch comes free with your first Merit Beauty order, you can shop my link here.

Summer

tank top (I sized up in these since they’re fitted) // bag // flip flops (wearing a x-large which fits a size 9 great)

Cuffing trousers! It’s a fun way to re-invent a style that feels fixed.

t-shirt (I’m wearing my usual size) // bag (I tied a knot in the strap to make it shorter) // sandals (true to size)
